Yep, D&D even at a wedding reception.
MY KIND OF RECEPTION
Ditto!
I played many games in the past, not so much in the current but last summer I did my girls Munchkin to play. They took to the game fast and really live the idea that fun is more important than getting the rules exactly right. :)
With TableTop we were inspired to get a gaming table and start exploring even more games. The girls love Zombie Dice and Gloom from the show but also really like playing Dixit. The thing they really love is the opportunity to tell a story so our Gloom games tend to be very lengthy.
I’ve also taught my girlfriend Carcassonne and we’ve also played rounds of Munchkin and Gloom.
Here’s my girls getting started on another round of Gloom.

This is magical. =)
I got pulled up to play a game with Felicia Day! So much fun!
Our family has had game nights ever since my kids were little and we continue to play games even though my son is about to head off to college and my younger two are both teens. It’s a great way to bring everyone together. And we’ve extended our love of games to other members of the family, including my nieces and nephews. Here are some of them (along with my lovely wife) in the middle of a rousing introduction to what my kids affectionately call “The Train Game”. :-)

We’ve always played games in our house, and Tabletop has been a wonderful introduction to new and fun games that bring together the whole family! Here’s a shot from this evening, when my wife and I sat down with the kids to dream up some dreariness in a hilarious game of “Gloom”. (And, of course, after watching the Tabletop episode, my son and I couldn’t resist over-alliterating EVERYTHING!)
Many thanks to everyone who makes Tabletop so great - it’s not just a ton of fun, it inspires a ton of fun that my whole family can have *together*, and that’s a wonderful thing.-Tony
The Geek and Sundry show TableTop inspiring more table top gaming for all.
Me, Ariel, and her roommate are playing tabletop Magic. I lost game one but Grizzlybrand says I win game 2……
