MW: What types of games grip you most?
TYLER: People can interpret this any way they like, but I really only like to play first-person and third-person shooters. Those are the games that speak to me. I don’t know what that says about me, but by limiting the kinds of games I play, it concentrates my gaming choices and limits them so that I’m not frustrated about not being able to play everything I want to play.
I’m also a franchise player. If I fall in love with a franchise, I’ll play the franchise all the way through. Halo was my gateway console game — that’s the game I play multiplayer most with my friends. Then I got into Gears of War — I especially love Gears because I thought that narratively it was one of the most cinematic games I’d ever played, especially by the third game. That was a really wonderful, sad, beautiful game. I try to play games that are rich in terms of competitive play and also that are narratively rich, because if you’re going to spend hours and hours playing something, the story shouldn’t suck.

Halo 4: In the video above we hear from Halo 4's Executive Producer, Kiki Wolfkill, and Creative Designer Josh Holmes about the studio's adherence to Halo, what luxuries 343 has enjoyed over the former franchise custodians at Bungie,
It’s funny because that’s what my best friend and I do. lol <3
I can’t decide if this is funny or sad. Why should the discussion topic between two women change when a guy walks by?
Ashley ‘ladyinsanity' Soriano , 22, started turning heads with her FPS skills when she competed in console shooters such as Call of Duty and Halo, but now she’s making waves as a StarCraft 2 competitor after winning the latest Iron Lady Bronze to Gold Mousepad Challenge. She tore through both the winner’s and loser’s brackets to the grand finals, where she faced her fellow teammate S4KuR4 for an intense rematch, during which ladyinsanity managed to even up the series then seal the deal with a 2-0 victory after S4KuR4’s subsequent forfeit.
GWH: So, for those that are unaware can you please introduce yourselves?
Gemma: Hey I’m Gemma (xGemGem) and I’ve been in the Halo scene since 2009. You may have seen me about at EGLs helping out rather than competing and just generally having a good time at events. EGL Blackpool will be only the second time I’ve competed at an event!
Tara: My names Tara (GiggleyFairy). I am 22 Years old and I am part of the girls team Athena :). You guys probably haven’t heard of me as I am quite new but I am sure you will see more of me and I will be at EGL7 Blackpool!
Jade: Hello I’m Jade, 19, from Blackpool, but most of you know me as ‘Jadezone’. My gamertag is terrible but my dear mother came up with it 6 years ago, so it will never change! Gaming has always been a huge part of my life ever since I was young, I couldn’t imagine what I’d be doing now if I didn’t have such a passion for it.
Rea: Hey I’m Rea (RaspyAxis) I am 28 and I’m from Hertfordshire (the quiet one). I have been to a couple of events to support my boyfriend Prisma7ic, so you may have seen me floating around.
