Well put dear anon. Yes, many of the images, that show women and gaming, that were circulating when I started this blog, were not actually action shots. Granted when it comes to gaming, action shots tend to not be terribly exciting, but they are honest.
And that’s really what I wanted to represent, an honest look at ladies actually gaming. But its come to include so much more about the female gamer experience, more then simply pictures.
I love video games. and why not? As women, we are often underestimate and say that we can only play Mario Bros, Spyro or anything else that does not involve skill or blood… they are wrong.
I consider myself as a good gamer (not perfect, but decent) and my favorite games are Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Silent Hill, Onimusha, Echo Night: Beyond, and now free/libres, Frets On Fire.
Behold my average health level in Borderlands 2. Thankfully I found a health regen mod recently. Best item ever. For the Siren class anyway.
Turns out that the only female character choice is supposedly one of the harder classes to play.
I work very part-time at GameStop, a video game retailer. One of the [few] perks of working there is that I can check out games and play them. So yesterday I checked out Puzzle Quest for the DS, having heard some good things about the game. And those rumors were not wrong!
