My rotation its pretty standard, which is unnecessarily complicated. This is a pretty decent run down and mostly what I priorities.
Problem with Soul Fire is that it takes forever to cast. While I get an instant one every 45 seconds (Soulburn and T13 bonus) I do still have to cast it in between, as the buff only lasts 20 seconds. Unless I’m lucky and get an Imp proc.
Its not really terrible, but it certainly feels like a huge break in the rotation and is low on the fun meter. And then there are certain encounters where I inevitability have to move at the exact same time that I’m supposed to be re-casting it. Always.
I do pretty well on dps when its a ‘stand in one spot for ten minutes’ fight. =)

Anyway, ran through my rotation on a dummy just now and I can’t seem to break 25k. This is with only personal buffs, though no DI. Never a Shadow Priest around when I need one. =P
My character found here. And I just noticed that I haven’t enchanted most of her stuff. Ack.
Clearly there are things I can refine; talents, glyphs and gems to optimize. But the amount of extra time it would take to figure out how to do this is just not really worth it, though I’m totally open to suggestions. =)
And in the end I dont mind being the last person on the dps meter (and I’m not always last). Its just fun when little bonus moments like the Mannoroth fight come along.
Its reminds me of Lich King, when Warlocks ruled. Destro anyway. Cata gutted the Destro spec. Anyway this is a really interesting article about the decline of Warlocks in Cata and mirrors my dissatisfaction with the class as a whole.
Not that I’m giving her up. I have hope for Pandaclysm, since yet again the entire class is getting changed.
